On what would have been his 77th birthday, Ronaldo Valdez was remembered by his children Janno and Melissa Gibbs who expressed their profound longing for the veteran actor.
Janno marked Valdez’s birthday by resharing their cover of “Just the Two of Us” through his Instagram page on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Aside from the siblings, Janno’s actress wife Bing Loyzaga and their daughter Alyssa also dedicated birthday greetings to the late actor whom they addressed as Pepe.

Valdez, whose career spanned nearly five decades, was found dead in his bedroom in the afternoon of Dec. 17, 2023. Among the last projects he did before his demise was the 2021 series “2 Good 2 Be True,” in which he starred alongside Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
He was also known for starring in numerous TV series and films including “Cedie: Ang Munting Prinsipe,” “Pepe en Pilar,” “Fe, Esperanza, Caridad,” “Seven Sundays” and “The Mistress.”
