Troy Montero assured his followers that he is safe after getting into a car accident while racing, although he shared that his vehicle is “not in good shape.”
On his Instagram, Montero shared a video showing his black racecar with its mangled hood, bumper, and fender before it was taken by a tow truck. Workers were also seen removing some parts of the vehicle and sweeping off the race track.

I’m not even sure it’s possible but the team said they will try their best.”
View this post on InstagramIn a separate post, Montero then showed a glimpse of his team swapping parts of the wrecked vehicle into a different race car, however, it wasn’t enough for him to finish the race.

It hasn’t run in a few years, and it’s a bit heavy, but the crew gave me the chance to race — and that’s what counts,” he said.
Article continues after this advertisement“Unfortunately, we couldn’t finish the race, but it was an incredible effort by everyone just to get me to the starting line. Now it’s back to the paddock for repairs, hoping for another shot at racing tomorrow,” he added.
